Re: ICC World Twenty20 Warm-up Matches
Looking forward to both these games. I reckon we can give Pakistan a run for their money with our very talented squad. It's just up to the team now. Which Zimbabwe will turn up ?? The Zimbabwe that beat the Windies, or the Zimbabwe that self destructs

Australia will be agood warm up considering we will be facing New Zealand and Pakistan will also be a good work out as we will be facing Sri Lanka . Those games should tune us up to the correct levels .

Not bad, playing the ODI defending world champions and T20 defending world champions...
Re: ICC World Twenty20 Warm-up Matches
my thoughts are this:
it could be good to play warm up matches against the worlds best...it will toughen them up and make them men.
OR
It will shatter their confidence and make them timid and question their self worth.
Sports psychology shows it goes both ways.
Best case scenario for me is Lanka or someone go into the game not taking it too serious, get an upset beat, Zimboks pump their chest up with pride and go in fearless.

Re: ICC World Twenty20 Warm-up Matches
Give me any team any day. All I really wanna see is Zim playing against the best in the world thats the only way we are going to improve. We are part of the world class of this elite sport so the more we play teams like Ozzie and Pakistan the better.

Re: ICC World Twenty20 Warm-up Matches
As i'm sure most of us are, i'm really looking forward to this tournament!!
What im hoping is that we turn up and show the talent that we have. 20-20 might not be respected by everyone but you cant deny that its going to play a big part in the future of cricket. These matches, even the warm up games are chances that we must take to show that we deserve to be playing against the top nations...
Whilst only some of the recent international performances have been strong i am placing rather high expectations on the team. It would be a shame to waste the opportunity on a stage such as this!!
