This was one of our great victories. We dominated India from the first delivery of the match and never took our foot of their throats. It was great to see us bounce back from our previous debacle against Sri Lanka. Too often in the past we have followed up one bad performance with another. Lets hope we can beat Sri Lanka or India lose again and we get to the final.

It was good to see us going for the bonus point also yet not risk losing the match.

Bliggie didnt bowl FAST mate. He barely passed the 130kmh mark but he bowled in the right places. Kinder reminded me of a certain Glenn McGrath. He has surely matured into a good bowler hope he picks up some pace on the way.

The Indians bowled a lot faster. Both Dinda and Yadav are quite quick. Dinda got it up to mid 140s, not sure about Yadav, but I have seen him hit similar pace in the past.

I really think that the speedgun has ruined how people look at fast bowlers. Their ability is invariably judged on their speed, rather than how successful they are, which doesn;t seem fair. Accuracy, and ability to move the ball are always much more influential, than simply pace. It wouldn't make any sense to judge Zim's 4 spinners on the pace they are bowling, so why does this have to be the case for seam bowlers?

Just finished watching the game then, I don't know why the local pay TV networks can't put this on live but they can for the England domestic T20. Anyway, a great win by Zimbabwe, Brendan Taylor leading the way once again. Thought Blignaut was fantastic, with reasonable pace between 125-135... what impressed me most was the swing he was getting at the start of the innings. The bowling performance was very good, Cremer was unlucky not to get a few more wickets with hawkeye showing a few of those appeals were plumb. Fortunately it made no difference to the result

Taylor played very well in game number 100. Masakadza in good touch too. Zimbabwe were clinical today, I liked the tactical moves of playing Coventry up the order and being aggressive in taking the second powerplay. They clearly meant business and wanted that bonus point as well as a good run rate.

Hoping for a Sri Lanka win against India to knock them out and set up a Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka final.
