I still don't get why they wouldn't play Ervine and Overlord.
The qualifiers are round the corner and they need time in the middle.

If Madhevere keeps playing like this one has to consider that it's his ceiling. He has absolutely no learning curve.
3 years and he's a lesser batsman than when he was u19.
I think by now Dave should have starting 11 in his mind. Next game he should go with that 11

Watching on ZBC TV, not the highest definition either.
A modern 10 dollar camera phone is better quality.

Yeah I think they will. 5 changes today (and it’s showing!) but hopefully a full strength XI for the final game.

Wes is a real concern. People have a go at Marumani but Wes’s returns in recent times have been just as paltry.

Googly is right, he looks to have less technique and temperament than several years ago which is a huge concern.

Shumba has done nothing to warrant being in the team for at least the past 12 months, maybe longer. I don’t think he’s had a good innings since that one Vs Scotland in September 2021?

I’m not writing him off, or any of the youngsters. But when you are so badly out of form you need a break from the national setup and this level of pressure for sure.

Gumbie has a slight finger injury has he not?
Thanks to his hundred and Kaia pushing the self destruct button after decent returns he should be a shoe in now for qualifiers ( Gumbie)
Would like to see myers and campbell next match.

The next bunch of u19's are Myers, Welch and Bennet.
My 10c worth is they have a higher ceiling.

Why would do that twice? The bowler surely in his head. The bowler also ran to the crowd and that going to be an intresting match up, the bowler against the crowd! I hope they can give him the stick back!
Sorry, but what happened?

This was an almost pointless game.

Madhevere had great bowling stats - but that was because I think he largely bowled against teams like Canada, Nepal, PNG, etc. But as far as I remember, none of the new gen guys had any notable batting performances against any top 12 (full member) teams at the U-19 level. Myers, Marumani, and Shumba included. I don't think any of them ever got to triple figures.

Bawa does have a U-19 hundred, but if memory serves correctly it was against Canada, and he coulnd't buy a run outside of that innings.
