That was a stressful unconvincing win.
I know Larry took 2 wickets but he went for 10 an over.
Had it not been for a masterclass from Sean they'd have crunched us.

To chats' credit, he single handedly made this thread the 2nd largest in terms of posts made in the qualifiers

A win is a win. Let's just keep focused. 1 more win and we are through. Let's not worry about other things. Our aim should he to topple Sri Lanka

The only reason Chatara got wickets is because they kept bowling him. Maybe Wellington would have got 3 wickets and conceded a third of the runs!

Chatara has to go. Great servant, loved his Test match bowling back in the day but he's cooked now.

Don't mind persevering with Madhevere, he's dynamite in the field and a handy bowling option. He surely will learn more from failing at international level than... what's the alternative right now, the Harare Friendlies League?

F***ing Finally. Not at all impressed with this win but I will take it man.

Phew! 6 points in the bag. We are now exactly in the same position as in 2018 but with 1 extra point in hand.
Yep, bank the points and let's never speak of this match again.

Scotland would've made us pay so we better sort out our bowling before then.

Why did Chats not bowl?
The higher you go the cooler it becomes.

An important win, though not quite an easy stroll.

Top order batting of Zimbabwe below Oman's during first power play.

Jongwe a hero for his batting contribution and for the catch he took.

This win can boost morale, not the NRR. Agaist Oman a win with a higher margin was due.
Let's see what Holland and Scotland will do.

A pie that could have been hit anywhere. A good yorker, thrown together with 4 bad balls an over. He could have easily lost us that. Stupid from Ervine to keep him on.
Look he’s definitely struggling, but he has 7 wickets for the tournament and he’s taking wickets at crucial times.

As I pointed out before, the coaches & leadership group trust him so I doubt he’ll be dropped.

He’s been a great servant for Zim and I think the forum is doing him dirty here. Some of the comments, you would have thought Tari Muzarabani was bowling

On the plus side, we got the win and batted well.

Also a sort of plus, we now can see very plainly that our bowling is not up to scratch and we really need to work on it. The fact that some of our better preforming bowlers didn't get to bowl their full overs and the most expensive bowler kept getting pulled back on even with all the other options is questionable
