They're miles better than us in every dept.
Yeah and we’ll get trounced in the World Cup next month. I’m giving us 60-40 chance to make the Super 8. We’ll get smashed by SA, a game I tried getting tickets to but wasn’t willing to pay more than $100 USD for. We’re 60-40 favorites against Sri Lanka, but that’s anyone’s game really.

The gap between Bangladesh and the top 5 T20 sides is almost as massive as that between ZIM and Bangladesh. But to be honest, I’m the current cricket ecosystem Bangladesh can’t really expect to be any better than 8th place in any format. As long as we can stay ahead of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and the Windies and try and keep close to Pakistan I’ll be satisfied. Not pleased but satisfied.

If Campbell and bennet continue on their merry way the Raza opening gambit is not a bad idea at all.
It’s a boss idea yo; open and bat the full powerplay inshallah he’s easily looking at a big score

Shadystan is the bossiest team out there bro, they’re that packed with talent legends like Naqvi can’t even get a sniff of the action. Zimdesh need to seriously up their game to get anywhere close to those PK boys.

They gave fucked themselves by making changes for today. Unfair to leave Marumani out after one game.

Leave out Gumbie for Burl. Ervine can open.
Unfair to leave Marumani out ? , that's a laugh he does nothing at this level .
Who would you pick old NelsDawg? Kevin Kasuza or some left field jazz yo

I think Burl was unlucky to be dropped. He had a bad game in 1st 20/20 but he has been in really good form in domestic 20/20 including an excellent 50 against Durham.
Would like to see him bat up the order and perhaps leave Campbell where he is at moment. Don't dick the new guy around too much.

Raza as opener would be a good move. He has done it before. We need to see a blistering start. Does the toss mean much in next 3 games conditions wise as we are moving to a new ground??
Kriterion will be able to answer this one?

For the first time in maybe a decade I got that feeling of a change of guard. Well played Bennet and Campbell. Well played.

They have to drop the 2 openers from today and bring back Burl and Williams then we give it a real try for the next game. That might mean they sneak in Faraz for Jongwe because there is always 1 strange selection
So;
1. Ervine
2. Kaia
3. Bennett
4. Williams
5. Raza
6. Burl
7. Madande
8. Campbell
9. Jongwe
10. Ngarava
11. Blessing

ZC won’t like that. Something not quite white about it

Problem is, it's not one game. Lad has been failing since ages.

... And anyone thinking modern T20 cricket needs anchors like Gumbie (T20 ffs!!) is probably living in 1970s.

Even if someone is an 'anchor', that player also keeps taking singles and twos, and keeps the scoreboard ticking. You won't see him 4 (19) in the powerplay, that was probably acceptable in 1970s , well before my birth.

A run a ball 43 in an embarrassing thrashing. How face saving can that be?
Very good by Zim standards though.
He's OK.
In fact ZC X state that it was heroic batting in vain as Bangladesh ease to victory.
It was sensible batting getting us to 120 which on an exceptionally lucky day gives the bowlers a sniff.
We need heroes, but that wasn't it.
your vendetta against Clive is fucking weird...
How is it weird?
He has just said that he is hit or miss and it is dependant fully on whether his one big shot (cow corner slog) comes off or not.
I agree with him.
