It's not a banana skin. It's akin to our senior men's team playing our u19 girl's team.
Kelis ndlovu would smack them all over

The only only silver lining of this tournament for zimbabwe is they get a few more matches than they would have ordinarily by virtue of going through qualifiers. Coach can loom at different combinations and new players.
Really hope Musekiwa tees off. I really rate him in short format.

This extra game time is exactly why I was against automatic qualification based on the placings at the last World Cup.

As degrading as qualifiers may be, there’s no substitute for game time and pressure situations.

On paper this should be a cakewalk and will be good to see our chevrons get game time. OK i understand how far we have fallen and it is embarrassing to play these games in the first place. However it's game time and chance to look at combinations and newer players.

Just trying to put a positive spin on all this 🤣

Hope bennett gets some good consistent scores and also marumani gets some confidence again. The lad really can play.

Myers will show his class in these games I'm sure.

Just imagine these teams have barely played more than a handful of games shocking for Zim to be playing in these qualifiers even our U19 side(the ladies) should be steaming past these guys.

Guys are already in Kenya, no real warm up matches before leaving which is a bit strange.

A couple of wins over Lesotho and Eswatini! Seychelles shouldn't be underestimated. I imagine in 15-20 years we will be fighting out a 3-2 T20 series victory over them and breathing a sigh of relief that we avoid our nemesis Burkina Faso in the next qualifying round.

our nemesis Burkina Faso.
They’ll be streets ahead of us with their bowling machines and indoor high performance centre.
