Is it really? Well, not for me ... I'm only guessing here: could it be Mr. JD Logan, of Logan Cup fame?

See, the first guess turned out to be true. So, it was easy :)

James Douglas Logan it is, and the Logan Cup is named after him. He played 4 FC matches for SA: http://www.espncricinfo.com/southafrica ... 46131.html

Hope the Logan Cup schedule for this season is released soon :)

Your saying it was easy was a good hint, Crimson. :) I had no idea Mr Logan had played FC cricket himself. Happy times when you could write your name into cricket history by simply donating a cup.

Btw, ZC should sue Renault for using the name "Logan Cup" for their cheapish Dacia Logan racing series. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dacia_Logan_Cup The current season is still under way here in Germany ...

Goodness! If there is one good thing about the squad selection of last year or so, the selectors have made me completely forget about this man :)
