Melbourne Renegades have officially signed Tawanda Muyeye as replacement for Laurie Evans.
Just saw him take the field as a sub fielder.

Well done to the young man.

The pitch seems slow and placid again, any assurance for the seamers is gone.

Hopefully the pitch just gets better and better to bat so the boys can chase down something like 150-200 which looks likely now.

Rashid will bowl unchanged from one end for the entirety of the 4th innings I’d expect.

Who walks these days? That's old school. Cricket isn't really a gentleman's game either. You can't sledge the shit out of people then walk, or have a beer afterwards surely? Its becomes like that Hollywood roast. It's stupid. Or a fast bowler trying to knock your head off then suddenly concerned wh...

Re: Ryan Higgins Turned Down Zimbabwe Approach

Without Raza Zimbabwe are not in this test match, same can be said about Slug. How can we even talk about not needing them or wanting to move away from them? They don’t play enough test cricket for Ervine to retire from the other formats. Raza is the best spinner in the country too btw, I’m a big Ma...

Re: Ryan Higgins Turned Down Zimbabwe Approach

Jaybro, he's better than all our batters I’m not disagreeing, because I’ve been seen him bat. But I think it’s should be a point of debate or at least something he would considering. There’s already 4-5 white batters in the team, no chance they drop another black guy for him. So, unless Ervine or W...

Re: Ryan Higgins Turned Down Zimbabwe Approach

There is a log jam, considering the guys who are sitting out atm. Think back the last 20 years there’s never been this type of depth. The question is whether he’s that far above the rest he gets the red carpet treatment that BT & GB got which Sloan speaks of, I don’t know the answer to that but a fi...

Not sure about Williams wicket. All credit to him for walking. Afghanis definitely would not, but then again, I am happy that our players show integrity. In saying that, didn't seem like he got near it. My initial thoughts were that he could have easily stood his ground, especially if he wanted to ...

Re: Ryan Higgins Turned Down Zimbabwe Approach

Considering the apparent log-jam of batting sticks at Zimbabwe now, would it be as simple as him walking into the side now? He might look at Nick Welch and think twice about throwing his lot in with the unpredictable ZC. However, he is 29 now and seems unlikely to ever make the England team, doesn’t...
