Re: Zim grouped with India, WI and PNG for U19 WC
PNG cricket seems to be on an upward curve overall. Very exciting times for them over there. The National team is now in WCL Div 2. Maybe one day they could be playing shield cricket in Australia. It gets mentioned from time to time when media does a positive news story on PNG cricket about how not...

Re: Who do you think is the most promising player in Zimbabw
Cremer is infallible in these parts! Your honest assessment might be misconstrued for hating him! On the contrary, hope he proves me wrong, works hard on his game and becomes one of the worlds great spinners. I will be happy to eat a Lou Brown s-*t burger. Thanks BRM for the positive forum topic. Z...

Re: Who do you think is the most promising player in Zimbabw
I have to disagree. I hadn’t watched Cremer for any real period of time until the test match in New Zealand. To me he doesn’t push the ball through quick enough ie. Is a ‘slow’ leg spin bowler who will be unable to trouble world class batsmen, even though I admit he can get turn. Australia have tria...

Re: Is Kevin Kasuza a potential future star?
How would have that happened? Deflection off the helmet? But must have been in a shot attempt as well.I dont know much about him except for the fact that he is the only batsmen to score 6 legbyes off the bowling of some fast bowler's delivery.

Re: Is Kevin Kasuza a potential future star?
Comments in cricinfo state that he could be Zimbabwe's David Warner, perhaps aussie cricket's first $3 million man.
Zimbabwe Cricket need to get a really good 'A' tours program to get these guys international exposure and to build on their game.

Is Kevin Kasuza a potential future star?
Just viewed the scorecard http://www.espncricinfo.com/zimbabwe-domestic-2011/engine/match/530728.html from the Tuskers and Mountaineers Coca-Cola 50 match on the 17th Dec. Here Hamilton Masakadza and Kevin Kasuza impressively chased down a modest total for the Mountaineers and won the match. It seem...

Has a first class hundred, but batted at no. 10 for Namibia in their last outing - reminds me of my U-17 cricket team.Occasional batsman who bowls a bit.

Re: Is Zim improving?
New Zealand were sent in on a green-top. However it didn’t look like it was an overly harsh first day pitch to bat on regarding movement off the seam and through what the commentators were saying. The young Australian attack bowled well again. The Kiwis look to be in a lull. I really wonder how team...

They would not be seen as internationally renowned match-winners and are unlikely to be a crowd draw With all due respect to Ten Doeschete, is he? Universally recognised as the best associate player in the world, but how often does he get exposure on the international stage. He has a great IPL cont...
