Re: Antum Naqvi

Netherlands have selected some West Indian bowler in their squad now. Every country has so many players who are not exactly 'locals', I don't know why should we have a huge problem with Naqvi tbh. Daniel Doram has been playing for Netherlands since he was 15. Massive difference between him and Naqvi.

Re: T20 World Cup 2022 | 16th Oct - 13th Nov

Honetly, Nepal beating Scotland or Ireland is not that much of an upset. Both of them have lost to Nepal before and have even been beaten by the likes of Italy and Jersey . The fact is that outside of top 3-4 teams, the other 20-30 teams are much closer in T20 cricket than people realize and anyone...

Re: T20 World Cup 2022 | 16th Oct - 13th Nov

I feel sorry for the likes of Uganda and Kenya who are now more than likely going to miss out on the next World Cup. All because we lost to the Dutch and then they performed a miracle against South Africa…..Gutted If a team cant qualify for a 20 team world cup, they really have no business playing ...

Re: T20 World Cup 2022 | 16th Oct - 13th Nov

It will be through regional qualifiers, in which Zimbabwe will have tp play against Uganda, Namibia, Kenya, Nigeria, etc. Not going to be as easy as I think only 1 spot available and Namibia are definitely on the up. I think it’s two It is going to be two . I would say most probably Zim and Nam wil...

Re: Associates Watch 2018-2023

The ODI league needs to be expanded to 15-16 teams in my opinion.
How about providing all the 104 members ODI status, just like T20I status?

Re: Ireland Cricket new home for Zimbos, Proteas and talented English County Cricketers ?

Not surprised at all that Ireland are getting pumped in the actual game. Test status is just the beginning of a very long road. Even Afghanistan is going to struggle because they dont bat deep enough even though they have a world class bowler. You need at least 3 Brendan Taylors to put up a real fi...

Look at Ed Joyce, ffs. Or the Ireland team in general, they are ancient.
Tbh, the reason the current Irish team is still sticking around is because their carcasses want to play Test cricket. I'm sure we will see significant change in personnel within Ireland cricket team in the next 2 years.
