This was certainly a surprise. Our batting is still atrocious, but at least Williams and Chatara can bowl.

Never been a problem with the bowling in these three matches. They have been good. Batting terrible but bowling redeemed us.everyone needs to come to party next match

Williams is definitely showing competence bowling at the death under extreme pressure, as with the tied match in the tri-series.

the main problem we have is you get situations where 90% of the senior players fail with the bat.its shocking really and is always our biggest downfall..as a collective they just don't have the spine for it and I think its a mental thing. I'm sure we were all surprised waller even managed to stick around. I hope it doesn't catch on with the likes of Musakanda. we are very unforgiving when senior bowlers mess up but more lenient towards the senior batsmen. the top teams always have 3 or 4 senior batsmen getting decent scores.

Question is if Raza is fit who gets dropped? that's a tricky one. PJ is the only keeper. Musakanda And Mire have both got some scores.Ervine and Williams are the core.Waller got a decent score today and was unbeaten. Burl has shown a little promise but I got a feeling he would make way IF raza was considered for selection.

After following our batting display I was shocked to see that we actually won !!! Reminds me of an 'Old School' Zimbabwe victory defending a low score with plenty of fight .....

Our bowlers are really doing well this series we just need our batsman to come to the party ......

If Moor wasn't keeping he'd be I trouble, but who to bring back ? Regis has had too many chances in ODI cricket and hasn't shown any glimpses of performing or Mutmubami who has done not much more than Moor .....

I don't mind Mire opening, we've been crying out for an aggressive opening batsman for years so I'm ok with him there but we really need some stability at the other end. Please open with Hami .....

Remarkable game. I went to bed with Zim at 113-5, and big partnership brewing between Musakanda and Waller. Figured they'd get to 200 or more and Afghanistan would be in for a tough game. Did not think they'd collapse a second time but not surprised to see the Afghans still fluff their chances. Bangladesh esque ability to lose games from dominant positions. Hopefully, its the kick in the ass needed to sort out their batting...they have collapsed EVERY time they have played Zimbabwe. 17 for 17 I think is the streak.

:o went to bed after a long day with the Afghans 4 down. Can't believe that.

I think the most encouraging thing out of this series so far is Chatara. He seems to have a chance of getting back to something good. Cremer and him, + Williams mean we have 3 out of 5 in a decent attack. If a young bloke can be added with a an old role player we could actually have some stability in the bowling and Streak might be able to mold a unit together.

The batting needs fixing. I can't see the point of Mire unless he is 80% available. Hami needs to be there at the top instead of him.
