Assuming injury related unavailability for Williams and Utseya: (two huge losses)
Masakadza (He's the man)
Sibanda (Comeback imminent)
Vermeulen (Coming back from injury, no question marks here)
Taylor (One bad series, no question marks here too)
Taibu (Coming back from all sorts of layoffs, needs more time)
Mutizwa (Deserves more chances)
Chigumbura (Boom Boom)
Price (Legend)
Cremer (No question marks here too)
Mpofu (Deserves to get into the playing XI)
Rainsford (If fit, must be in)
Waller (Hasn't done enough, but has been relatively better of late)
Ebrahim / Coventry (Coventry stays if he gets a really big score tomorrow, else, time for some experience as backup)
Matsikenyeri / Maruma (Matsi has done enough till Kenya series, but Maruma must be pushing for a selection case)
Jarvis / Mupariwa (Jarvis is a good prospect, but let him get some FC and List A experience under his belt. Mupariwa can get a look-in in that case)
What team would you pick for SA ODIs?

Re: What team would you pick for SA ODIs?
I agree with most of your choices. i would get jarvis in instead of mpofu mind as the south african tracks will probably be quick and bouncy tailor made for people like dale steyn and morne morkel. In that case we must fight fire with fire and rainsford/chigumbura/jarvis are the quickest we have
Re: What team would you pick for SA ODIs?
I would keep Chibhabha in the side he has shown that he can give us a third bowling option that make room for an extra batsman. Matsikinyere like the ball coming on hence will will be handy in S.A. Vusi deserves a call up. Jarvis is a great prospect for us hence he should be playing as many games as possible.

CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

I agree. this is my side, except i think Coventry has had his chance. Sibanda at 3 for me. And i would keep Chibhabha too, perhaps in for Matsi. Chamu adds the all rounder component too, like Chigumbura.
