Zimbabwe U19 captain Liam Roche will be moving to England to play for Liverpool CC in the upcoming season

Hasn’t he only played a couple List a games? If so there are a number of people who will feel aggrieved by this, if he gets in.

Is Liverpool cc a big club? Unusual to have an u19 as the overseas.

I've played there. They aren't astronomical. The 'Liverpool Comp' is a serious standard though. So if he's in that league he'll be tested.

Interesting that he's managed to get over though. Brandon Diplock mentioned to me that he was struggling to get a visa due to him only playing a couple of List A games

How many do you need to play? Or is it FC experience that’s required?
You’d think U19 WC games would count for something.

That's what I was thinking, to be honest. Being skipper as well as playing in the tournament proper would surely have some clout.

Is he good enough to crack a county 2's side in a couple of years, googly? Or do you reckon he's a way off that for the time being? His off spin looks very useful; had a very good arm ball

I’m confused. Do you need to show pro experience or is it the opposite- you have to be amateur?

I haven’t really seen enough of him to have an opinion.
He’s got some decent bowling stats and can clout a ball, but that’s all I really know.
I thought he was part of this Rising Stars tour??
Either he’s pulled out of it or it means it’s no longer happening.
