You’re right about the rain days I’d be even more kissed if we missed out due to a washout

To be honest a wash out would not be the worst result from our perspective. It would make the equation very clear to me.

The sweep might work in home conditions because they should have an idea of how the bowl will bounce. I would say first 10 overs there so many gaps so there is no need to sweep.. just smack it. After that the more seasoned campaigners can try sweep.

We have to use some experience here. Rashid is 19 allegedly. His second game in charge. If we have another start like we had the other day he will panic and bowl himself very early. If that happens and we see him off they will be in big trouble.

I’d like them to revisit this age thing and make a formal enquiry as to how this wanker played two U19 WOrld cups as an over ager. If your national captain is a cheat it does not set a good precedent.
Pitches in Zimbabwe as a rule tend to nibble around in the morning and then flatten out a bit later, certainly in Harare. We don’t want it rained off, we want to beat them fair and square, we’ve got the players, we just need clear heads and an infusion of the spirit of Lobengula.
Giddy up lads. Feeling emotional today. We need this.

One epic game awaits us. Just wonder which Zim Team shows up today. Our batting has hardly been consistent we really need the to be firing on all cylinders. If Zhuwao and Mire have another dream start it will definitely take the pressure off our middle order and have the build a reasonable score. I think batting first would be a good idea. At list the ball wont spin that much early on.

Odd choice to bat first I guess they’re backing their batsman to get the job done

The pitches in Sharjah weren’t playing tricks it was just poor execution of the sweep that did for us

Quite interestingly, they've begun with Najibullah. He's a pure part-timer.
