They left their best bowler (McCarthy) on the bench in the game against the windies.

He's not their best, though he is potentially their quickest.SpitfiresKent wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 10:30 amThey left their best bowler (McCarthy) on the bench in the game against the windies.
Tim Murtagh is there best I reckon. Very experienced and dangerous with the new ball when he gets into a rhythm. Knob though

Even though they been royally embarrassed. Unbelievable really.
But if they progress I suppose it will help out our chances drastically, as they have a greater chance of upsetting one of the big boys.

Nepal win. Good for us.
Netherlands doing ok.
Edit: 3 quick unnecessary wickets and now rain. Had Netherlands not lose those wickets they would've been ahead on D/L.

Perhaps Afghanistan can do us a favour and defeat the Irish.

Looking at the current points table going into the Super Sixes and the firm of the Windies I think if Afghanistan hadn’t of qualified we were in big trouble.
We really need Afghanistan to beat Ireland

AFG vs WI to mirror ZIM vs IRE.
The two biggest matches of the Super 6 stage first up! But the beauty of the tournament is that subsequent games may be even more crucial. ZIM vs WI, and AFG vs IRE.

I really hope it's Ireland and Zimbabwe who go through, or Scotland and Zimbabwe, and not the West Indies/Afghanistan. I mean mathematically it may not be possible, but it would really stick a didget up the ass of the ICC.
