This is good I think. Better it rains now they call an early lunch. We should get 20 overs. If it rains for 2 hours we would have lost 40 minutes for lunch anyway. Unlike yesterday where they still had lunch. Their score will be reduced by a little bit and they can't do more damage. The drainage is what I'm worried about. They should have covered the whole field. That's done in some places.
What annoyed me is how there was no urgency from our guys. Get the bloody 50 overs in! Match awareness guys.. our guys really look clueless sometimes. Taylor and Raza seem to have more of a say than Cremer sometimes. He needs to lead
Jarvis was just going short and getting clobbered.

From Cricinfo...
12.45pm The two umpires converge and call for the covers. The groundstaff drag the covers onto the field. The anxious Zimbabwe players troop off. Ireland and Afghanistan won't mind this. If this game ends in a no result, the winner of tomorrow's clash between Ireland and Afghanistan will qualify for the World Cup alongside West Indies.
Akshat: "Ireland and Afghanistan might be feeling happy right now, but the forecast for tomorrow is no better"

Agreed. They needed to keep Williams on from one end.TapsC wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 10:53 amThis is good I think. Better it rains now they call an early lunch. We should get 20 overs.
