The one time I put a large amount of money on Zim to lose a match, they actually show resolve....typical.

Is the bar in Castle Corner still in use?

I can't believe how flat this deck is.
How good is it though seeing Dion Myers and Milton Shumba playing test cricket for Zimbabwe

To be honest that's when you need a leggie. Leg spinners usually clean up the tail without much fuss. Burl is key
True. The management has to take blame for this. They have not done anything to fill the gap left by Cremer.
Discounting the batters who also bowl, there are basically 3 or 4 leggies in the system:
Mavuta - woefully wayward and actually getting worse.
Chipungu - The selectors / management saw his abilities and gave him chances this season to push for national selection. Will be ready with another season under his belt, by the looks if it.
Masara - Looks worse than the two above at this point anyway, needs lot of domestic exposure.
Jonathan Campbell - Yet to prove his worth in longer format although he did OK in domestic T20s
Njanji - Probably doesn't even bowl anymore?

And we have some left arm spinners:
Chisoro - Best spin option available for tests.
Wellington - Best spin option available for shorter formats.
Ndlovu - Not good enough from what we have seen at top level.

Others:
Mufudza - Looked out of place in the recent A team opportunities he got despite a good domestic record
Nyumbu - At this point he is hogging a position a youngster could take at Tuskers to push for seletion
Nyangani - left arm wrist spin, just getting a look in domestically. Lot of work to be done.

Did I miss anyone?

Not sure what happened to Manyede, Bhasikoro, etc. Of course, Mushangwe and Mutombodzi are not in the league as well. ZC pushed Roche ahead of the queue and tried keeping him and he too left the country. So, this is what we have. We need someone in the country to realize that the premier spinner spot is up for grabs and stake claim. Only guys close to a level of turning out internationally playing as a pure spinner are Chisoro and Wellington.

Chipungu the best bet at this point. But we need to see how it goes. ZC can't invent a spinner, but the deserving guys have got the exposure for sure to push for the next level. They need better coaching, not discounting that, but that is a problem in general - across all disciplines and not just spin bowling.

Arrrrgh! If he had survived that ball, they would have taken the new ball and it would have been slightly easier life for a while with faster bowlers.

Mavuta had the world in his hands in 2018, not sure what happened. There's a lot of bounce and skipping at the wicket which is preventing any real control.

Liam Roche was very over rated as an off spinner and was nowhere near ready to play for the national side.

Wellington isn't a test bowler as you've mentioned and Chisoro doesn't really look to turn it much at all.

There's a serious void as you've said. SOS Ray Price

Myers out, damn. He's showed enough there though that he belongs at this level. He nailed the shot too, just picked the fielder out.
