Re: Introductions
Haifridz of Old here, Yes i am a native of the great cricketing nursery of Highfield, Harare. I benefited from the Coca-Cola New Winners programme from the late eighties. We used to play on a concrete wicket at Chengu Primary School under the stewardship of a certain E Dube and guest coaches including Bill Flower. Steven Mangongo was instrumental in developing most of the guys in the present Zim set-up and he used to live in my street way back when, so we were never short of bat and ball growing up. I am honoured to be a part of this august forum otherwise.

Hi, I own and run http://www.chirundu.com "The place for homesick African"- a Zimbabwean website, that I created when I first moved to the UK over 10 years ago now!
I was born in Harare and like many Zimbos, I like most sports, including cricket, rugby and cycling.

Hi People
Am new to the forum,
Jus saw how much the players are gettin paid and wow.....I wonder why I spent the last 4-5 yrs of my life studying engineering, instead of pursuing cricket.
?uess it's not to late to find a place somewhere.....what grade are the match analysts, I might try working my way up that ladder till I leave engineering.
