I think Dabengwa, Matsi, Terry Duffin etc are the players who will have to fight their way to come to the national side again. Coventry, Lamb, Chibabha, Utseya are the other few players who are on the verge of getting axed. When Williams, Craig Ervine and Sean Ervine, return to the national their will be tough competition for sure in the middle order and the former players spot in the side will be questioned..With already Price and Cremer in the side, Prosper will have a hard time getting to the top 11. Jarvis, Irealand, Rainsford are the bowlers who will fight for forms to get in the side. Marillier and Ewing will compete against the spot of Lamb and Bliggie. Its looks like if few talented players return back then the whole team will be a much improved side. I cant wait to see the likes of Marillier, Bliggie, Ervine bros, Taylor etc hammering the attacks of world class bowlers.

Not too sure wether we'll see that. Marrillair could get back into the side, but a huge question mark will hang over his head as to wether or not he can still bat like we've all come to love and know. Plus I'm not too sure all five of these players will be in the same side. Bliggie and Marrilliar are too smilar, and there would not be enough room for both Sean and Graig Ervine.

You must be joking mate ! Why go for the old tried and tested when we've got younger and more talented players to pick from now. In all honesty I'd pick Duffin in my test squad. (He's got an excellent soild technique, and he's somebody that could fill the openers role efficiently)
Guys like Mutizwa, Malcolm Waller, Keegan Meth, Shingrai Mazakadza, Tendai Chitara, Pete Moor etc are the guys to be looking out for ! I'm talking about the younger players here, there's much more talent in the country :)

Hmm. Well Kamb isn't  That's a definate, he's shown good use with the ball and i reckon Campbell believes that he's got potential with the bat. Coventry should go away and find form, no questions asked. He's a destructive player when in form, but an ugly player when out of form.

Born there mate, but grew up over here in England. I've just followed Zim Cricket for the past 6-7 years, and i'm sure that's the case with Eugene.

I am not from Zimbabwe nor have I ever been there. I am actually from New Zealand but I have always supported Zimbabwe in cricket and have learnt as much about the cricket scene as possible. I now live in the USA.

I have recently been following Zim cricket and politics. Is the situation in Zim still tensed? I mean between the white Africans and Mugabe. It's sad Zim was such a rich country and they had so many talented people and players in the past. Lets hope everything will be fine including Zim cricket..

The next election will be very important. If ZANU-PF lose again there could be trouble. At least with Mugabe we know how bad he is - I fear the next generation of ZANU-PF is much much worse. I just hope MDC is much more prepared on how to deal with violence and intimidation from ZANU-PF at the next election. They almost seemed to be caught of guard last time.

As long as MDC MP David Coltart is invloved with sport in the country I think cricket will do fine. If Mugabe's thugs take over again who nknows what will happen.
