Sloandog reporting from Zimbabwe

Well guys what can i say ??
Bloody brilliant. The atmosphere is absolutly electric, or was, its died down now :D
Well done to Brendan Taylor for an incredibly superb knock, and to Craig Ervine to a very impressive debut.
Charles Coventry hit one of the biggest 6's I've ever seen in my life ! An absolute monster ! Well done sir !
Hopefully this is just the beginning of great things ! I'm so happy

Were you at the match sloandog? It looked like a good size crowd which consisted of more than just bused-in school children.

Barring Blignaut, every single member of the side played an important role today. Brilliant win.
His solitary 5 run over was okey and his pace was good comparatively to new ball bowlers. He fielded and threw well. He too contributed.

May be...but it looked so to me and Zimfan1.
This wasn't really an upset. Zimbabwe were the stronger side of the two, which showed in the assured manner of a tall chase, set up by fliers from Brendan Taylor and Hamilton Masakadza and finished off with 10 balls to spare by a cool-on-debut Charles Ervine.

Zimbabwe set for high-profile cricket
The Preview by Sidharth Monga May 27, 2010

Once was Zimbabwe cricket. Now it's just a carcass, almost like a country starting anew after a bloody war.
Sidharth Monga is sounding like a newsroom staffer who is still trying to impress with his writing skills. His article is at least three years expired
