So the Eagles/Goats players warmed up at HSC and a toss took place, but apparently no match happened? That's an odd one. You'd think if it was Covid they would have known test results much earlier than that. I wonder what happened?

According to the press release, in a pre-match Covid test, four players from one (unnamed) team tested positive, so game abandoned.

Nick Welch and the Schadendorf's are currently in Zimbabwe. It's a shame they aren't playing whilst here. Maybe their counties won't let them?
Maybe something to do with bubble cricket and COV19.
Hopefully in January

Thanks. Weird that they found out the results or did the tests so late though. Abandoned literally just a few minutes before play was due to start?

Anyway hope all are well and test negative soon. The final is supposed to be next week so interesting to see if they rearrange, delay, or just hand each team 5 points.

Jonathan Campbell is doing OK in the one day format. Averaging 35 but not yet ready. We need some 'A' tours next year so that we can test people like Campbell, Makoni and Madande. The senior team would be too big of a jump
Just cos i cant see on cricinfo.
Does anyone know how old Campbell is?

Hope Campbell performs and makes debut for Zim soon. Burl, Campbell, Mavuta.... 3 leggies who can bat is an asset for Zim in this era of wrist spinners.

Mavuta, Burl and Jonathan Campbell haven't done enough (so far) to be selected into the next Zim ODI and T20 teams. If they can't rip through domestic batting line-ups and smash 100s against local bowlers, how will they fare against 140km/hr plus international bowlers?. We have T20 and ODI world cup qualifiers coming up, we need match-winners
