Agree with the above few posters, Muzarabani is a much better bowler than quite a few who have somehow managed to get deals. Also better value considering some of the gigantic fees given to some pretty average guys.

He's got to keep performing in this PSL though, try and get into another league, maybe CPL, and hopefully do well in the T20WC later this year for Zim. If he keeps working and finds some consistency he'll get there one day. Still only 25.
Some guy born in France who has a bowling average of 99.33 from 10 games in the current BPL somehow managed to get an IPL deal today. I'm not joking either.

My home team SRH have taken a literally unknown Fazal Haq Farooqi, I follow almost every cricket game yet I don't know him 😂, absolutely brainless bidding, Muzarabani was hands down a better option, someone like Reece Topley who has international experience is a better option, but just look at the stupidity in the auction.
Fazal is literally around the ipl setup in last two years. He is net bowler for Punjab and csk last years.

You could make up a side of the unsold players that would be just as competitive as any of these sides. These franchise owners have got loads of cash and absolute shit for brains.

Yeah Blessing just needs to do decently in the t10 leagues, PSL and maybe the BPL/LPL/CPL to get a deal. Needs to make his name bigger by playing some of the top sides. He doesnt even really need to do that well. The franchises will see a hella tall black quick bowling uncomfortable deliveries and snatch him right up

It's also about performing at the right moments. The Super League matches against Australia and India are going to be key for Blessing and maybe Raza too. If ZC manage to organize matches against SA and the West Indies he needs to perform there.

1 major reason why Blessing is playing in the PSL is he had some decent performances against Pakistan.

Oh, for fs sake…France??? France??? Does France even play cricket? We are being too hard on Blessing on this forum. IPL teams have wired criteria for selecting players. France, get the blip outta here!!

To be fair he is English really and a very solid player in their local T20 over the years. But a bowling average of 100 from 10 games in the fairly low standard BPL. How does he - and several others - get contracts over Blessing?!

Paul Stirling didn't even get his name read out or invited for bids. Ridiculous as he's absolutely world class.

Such discrimination against the 'smaller' countries.

Hear hear!!! The signing from France put the nail in the coffin!! In any sport, there’s no way you’ll be offered a contract in the most lucrative league without being proven at the highest level…Even their weird exclusion of Pakistan. Are we supposed to believe the worlds elite league signed some French guy over the worlds top batsman Barbar and Mohammad Rizwan (with his supposedly pitiful T20i batting average of +50?)?? An elite league is about winning, they would pull all stops to get the absolute cream of LOI cricket regardless of whatever ethnic, religious, cultural bs

Yeah, I remember back in the day, when a meh Ireland caused an upset at the ODI WC 2011 can. England with Kevin Obrien scoring 100 off less than 50 balls. He was that years most sought after IPL signing, there was a genuine bidding war. Yes Ireland were ughhhh, but Kevin earned his contract off the back of a spectacular individual performance. This France chap doesn’t measure up. Perhaps the standards in the IPL have fallen??
