I would feel much better if you had WI/Pak/NZ in place of Ireland. But unfortunately that's just how far back we've fallen. Lot of ground to cover. How long till we're in that bracket, never mind Ban&Ire.....

we have regressed but the other teams didn't progress much they are just hanging above us. I'M sure with proper planning, training and rewards, in a couple of years we would be very much like WI & Bangladesh. With all that in place you can convince 4 eligible players or more from county cricket and the team will be up and running. The current team lacks confidence above all, if most of our players have stints in county cricket it will do them good. Ireland are always playing against top players in county cricket and you can see what effect it has on their team.
