Definitely did not expect this result at the halfway mark. Hopefully the players are starting to show that mental fortitude we've been lacking. I know a time where 115 would have had us giving up before bowling a ball. We really need to not let the new crop fall foul to the old guys habits.
Indians fans already going, "eh, it's our 2nd string side, no biggie". They are not wrong, but also you can only beat what is in front of you, so suck shit India.

This is so bloody true. This was a huge upset making international headlines, and some of the usuals are dead silent on here. Laughablesecretzimbo wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 11:46 pmI find it funny that we get more posts when we lose than when we win. There’s a lot of trolls on here who only appear when we lose. You know who you are.

@Googly anymore Madande comments- or was this just another fluke innings?

Over the last maybe 4 years, we've started to look really good defending small totalszimbos_05 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 3:01 amDefinitely did not expect this result at the halfway mark. Yup, all good mate, thank you!Jemisi wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 4:14 pmHey mate, good to hear from you. A pretty nice surprise this afternoon eh? Hope you are well.CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 3:14 pmMy last comment over here was to condole the sad demise of Heath Streak. And haven't followed much of Zim cricket since then, with all the soul crushing losses along the way.
But could not resist myself from coming here and congratulating the team on defeating the newly minted world champions!

Chatara's bowling made such a difference. Just goes to show there can be no substitute for experience.

My “Madande comments”, which are not horrible, by the way, will not cease until he gets a few innings under his belt against good opposition at 140%.
I just don’t think he’s that convincing.
But he did well to get what turned out to be important runs on the board.
The batting in general was dire, not a lot changes for us.
You don’t need a passport to play for Zim, u need a citizenship, which Knackers obviously has.
Otherwise if a player misplaced his passport he’d have to sit out.
Pretty sure he will play today.

I was there. Poor batting performance but somehow we are better in low total matches. The nerves we real when Chatara was bowling at the end but he delivered. Took a lot of mental strength on his part to do that. Credit where it’s due. Dion looked good until the runout. Madande delivered too. It’s a real positive to have won without Ervine and Williams because at the halfway stage their absence was really felt. I’m expecting India to bounce back strong today though
