‘Talent scout’

Nice to see him doing something to warrant his massive salary for the past three years for once

As usual they get it wide of the mark. Sure it would be nice to have some quality players come out, but the absolute priority is quick bowlers and quality spinners.
The Pom bowlers will be resting, the only place is Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh etc that time of year.
A blind man can see our better batters need to face relentless bowling from both ends.
We've got Blessing and Richie not wanting to play 4 day stuff as well.
What we don't want is batters coming out here to bolster their averages to get a County gig.

They got it absolutely right with those Pakistani bowlers last season. Good guys and good bowlers.
Much more of the same.
More 50 over and more T20.

Only Mukhulani, Makoni, and currently Houghton have easier jobs than Mr Jarvis. All this spare cash to throw around and you've got cricketers that can't eat, let alone buy kit and bats. For Shame, For Shame!!!!!!!

There may be some county spinners who could come out, but ya there’s no chance we are going to get any pace bowlers from England coming out here - counties just won’t allow it.

The Pakistani guys were good, and mostly dominated. It was worrying because none of them have really had professional careers in Pakistan. They probably weren’t in the top 50 seamers in Pakistan but came here and looked a million dollars. Concerning. But as you say, very very useful for us and it would be good if they or others came back again. We need more of that.

The ideal scenario would be to have 1 quality overseas bat and 1 quality overseas bowler in every franchise for every fixture all season.

I'm going with 2 overseas quality seamers and one quality spinner per team. Why do we need batsmen?

3 overseas bowlers per side? Seriously restricting opportunities for any of our promising players. You know for a fact Mountaineers are picking Shingi Masakadza as their 4th bowler for example

Well we need to find 5 x 4 promising seamers so they don't get left out. I can get to about 10 and then I'm struggling.

One Seamer and a batter
Overseas Seamer with a front line local fast bowler
Overseas batter helps with players like Marumani, Klong etc
I wish they had a draft..
Spread the players around
Force 3 under 25 players in every playing eleven
Chatara, Ngarava, Chivanga and Blessing should never be on one team

We need as big a rotation of imported bowlers as much as possible so our guys learn how to play differrrn bowlers rather than learn individual players they play against repeatedly
