Pitch still looks good as well. One or two stayed low but all in all I'm hoping this pitch will hold up.
Both Kaitano and Welch like bat on ball, which is fine until the pitch starts deteriorating and then they'd have to tighten up.

I was interested to see that Kaitano wanted nothing to do with pulling today. They'd obviously set a guy there and were trying to tempt him, but he restrained himself.

I also didn't realise Forrester had a decent in-swinger which he uses very sparingly.

That keeper seems to have calmed down a bit, maybe he'll start up again tomorrow, but am hoping he's been censured.

Kaitano has potential. If he puts the work in he could rise up like Gumbie. If I remember correctly he almost got a hundred in the test he played. If Gumbie is going to be the test keeper then Prince will need someone to open with him. Craig is shaky against the new ball. We need Craig and Williams coming in much later.

If not him then Myers or Naqvi might have to take that job as hard as that might be. Maybe that’s how Naqvi can earn the respect of some of the guys who have been in the system for ages.
