Is Burl in the ODI squad now ahead of Musekiwa?

Is he likely to be actually considered for Zimbabwe?

To be fair he has been bang average in domestic cricket before this season, so probably getting in the conversation. Need an "A" team tour.

Don't think so. Burl just doesn't play domestic cricket. Like ever.

Not having Musekiwa at all, no way near good enough to be anywhere near the national team. Tony Munyonga can do the same role to a much higher standard.

Yes he can hit a few sixes but will never be able to fit into a top 6. People underestimate how good a player Chigumbura actually was.

Ya he could play.
I'm praying they give Musekiwa plenty national game time. Decent hitter, but he will struggle at national level. Its the only way to get this ugliness out the way.
Open with Faraz, statistically our greatest ever T20 batsman and then Musekiwa at 3 so he can open his shoulders. We will clean sweep these guys.

Clearly Musekiwa should never have been in that ODI squad. But it still makes no sense picking Burl ahead of Jono. Burl hasn't real done much either to stack a claim in the ODI team.
