Pro50 & Logan Cup | 5th-10th December 2024

Post by secretzimbo »

Mountaineers play Tuskers at Mutare.

Rocks are playing Rhinos and was originally listed as Masvingo but for some reason seems to have been shifted to Takashinga.

Interesting to see who Tiripano picks/is told to pick. Presumably a few of the old Goats stalwarts will make a return. Sigh.

Ill eat my hat if Mike Frost plays.

So will Jayden be dropped because he isnt PONI?

There is zero reason to drop him after last game, the only reason would be as he isnt PONI.

If that is the case, Frank is full of crapola.

Seems to be an issue with the changing rooms at Masvingo not being quite at standard. Might not see games there for a bit.

Will be interesting to see the line ups today. They will help clear a few things. Is Awad Naqvi also looking to qualify for Zim. Seems to be doing very well of late but than again our domestic cricket level is very low anyone with a bit of talent will look like a superstar.

Four changes to the Mountaineers starting 11 from the last game
Out
Wasakadza
Schadendorf
Khalif
Muchawaya

In
Gumbie
Mawadzi
Nungu
Mhlanga

Wondering if we will see the young Khalif Patel again.

Pro debut for Panashe Taruvinga today.

Still 18, and one of the better of the last U19 batch. Also held his own in the last couple of editions of the NPL, playing a top order role for a the fairly strong Gladiators side.

Good luck to him.

Needs washing first!

Disappointed not to see Jayden. I see Gumbie is back.

I dare say the former is being allowed to be PONI.
