Damn, Curran got screwed there I assume, Rhinos need 9 to win with Curran on 98* and on strike, Mashinge goes on to bowl 2 deliveries down leg (I assume) for 10 wides leaving Ben on 98*
Would that be William 'sad loser shit' Mashinge?
I think it's probably reasonable to assume incompetence, rather than conspiracy, until proven otherwise.

But thing is he hardly keeps at all. It will be interesting to see who the main keeper for the A side will be with Mavayo around. It might show if ZC seriously considers Matt as a keeper. Is he better than Madande though.

If Mayavo is there, then he will definitely keep.

Ya he's not the best keeper. He hasn't had enough exposure, but he could certainly be thereabouts with more games and a bit of coaching. Possibly has the best hands to spin?

Is he the best keeper batsman?
The competition is Mayavo, Magodo, Gumbie, Madande and Maru. Have I left anyone out?

Nobody will ever know
As an all format batter i think he has the highest ceiling of these guys and most other batters, but needs the same exposure, which he's not likely to get unless he makes some hundreds in quick order, which he's capable of.
He's in the u21 age group which means he could be fast tracked, but again he's been overlooked. In an ordinary world they'd deliver him to the national coaches and say- should we fast track this guy? If you're relying on Chigumbura the answer is a firm no.
Is he the best u21 keeper/batter? Hands down.

I strongly suspect he'd have better numbers than Madande and Maru in white ball if he'd had the same exposure. We've seen enough of him to know he's got a very high ceiling, one of the very few in our system.

Madande will be coming back shortly and just needs a 20 or 30. Mayavo is in the mix, Gumbie will remain in the mix, BT may give it a go, Maru may turn it around. He's probably got to wait for all of this to play out before he's 40 and can't bend down.

Mountaineers with an unsurprising loss to Tuskers.

The Stanley Gogwe Cup wide open now.
This is why you need Livestream at all games, this guy would not umpire again.

I find it hard to believe anyone can be that incompetent two balls in a row at such a stage. Sounds to me very much like deliberate malice on the part of Mashinge, for which disciplinary action should be taken.
