I think it’s fair.

Maybe him playing an A series would have been a good test if it’s worth it.

Once again there is no quota.
Don’t be naive. There is clearly a quota.

I know what you mean

But at the same time. There is so few white players and add the fact Williams and Evan are injured half the time.

Definitely certain players have been given too long of a rope.
If there was no quota, the team would be;
1. Curran
2. Welch
3. Ervine
4. Williams
5. Raza
6. Bennett
7. Campbell (maybe not always but he would have a shot here and there)
8. Keeper (I’m not sure who is best at this stage)
9. Evans
10. Blessing
11. Ngarava

You can disagree on some if you like but that’s way over 4

I will agree that’s a decent side and close to what it should be.
But if that’s an odi side
7 probably a keeper
8 a spinner

I guess what I want to try and get at is. Just cos a player you like isn’t picked. Doesn’t always mean a quota.
Is like me complaining the Australian side only looks to NSW

Also not saying you in particular are pushing a player and blaming a quota

But more the general discourse that goes on across socials

I’ve been told from people on the inside that there is a quota. There’s that. I was pointing out that regardless of that it’s easy to see.
I think the quota is actually 5 non black but Raza takes up one.

That interesting thing there is how much selection has its favourites.

I know we can talk a lot about the Takashinga influence. Yet the Kaia brothers are two who have never been given a long go at it.

Just FYI that word you always use is pronounced with an R instead of a Z in Zim. Or with a V at the start sometimes. I think I’m Ndebele it’s Umlungu or something.

You’re using the Swahili version.
