We had a great return to the Test fold, that will help. but in the shorter version the only memorable, or internationally talked about, feature was BRM's 300+ in the series. If he can take that to NZ he may still get a look in ... but honestly I don't see it. They would not be seen as internationally reknown match-winners and are unlikely to be a crowd draw. I am hopeful too though.

With all due respect to Ten Doeschete, is he? Universally recognised as the best associate player in the world, but how often does he get exposure on the international stage. He has a great IPL contract in his hands.

The upcoming tour of New Zealand will be extremely important.
3 T20Is
3 ODIs

Then there is the issue of Taylor signing for Wellington. These eight matches in the HRV cup will be crucial and he would have to perform well. I will be taking interest. From what I can see, he's got at least 14 matches to show what he can do.

Good for him to be playing NZ too. Second Test starts today here in Oz. Looking forward to enjoying three days of cricket ;)
