On air Streaky was questioning why Chatara was not given the new ball ... and next ball he strikes!
working up some nice pace there.
At least we take a wicket, and at the rate India are going we won't be humiliated with 25 overs to spare.

I'd like to add the question why Heath isn't the bowling coach, Zim is such a huge disappointment.foreignfield wrote:On air Streaky was questioning why Chatara was not given the new ball ... and next ball he strikes!

He can sense the match situation so well. The other day, he felt Kohli came on to bowl only to change ends for Unadkat, as he felt there was more help for swing at the other end, and voila, an over later change of end it was. You can't have someone who reads the game so well on the sidelines, especially when he is available.FlowerPower wrote:I'd like to add the question why Heath isn't the bowling coach, Zim is such a huge disappointment.

Who makes these decisons? Is it the coach who says So and So must take the new ball or is it the captain once they are on the field.foreignfield wrote:On air Streaky was questioning why Chatara was not given the new ball ... and next ball he strikes!

Who opens the bowling is never an ad hoc on-field decision.bayhaus wrote:Who makes these decisons? Chigs turned up, but no one else. Minds elsewhere perhaps.
