Being white has been a disadvantage with ZC for a while. That being said, no cricketer in the country has been treated decently over the last decade.

That is a bit of shame. Ewing not being around will definitely weaken the standard of the domestic competitions.

I wonder if Streak's academy is successful how long it will take for politics to undermine it or make it harder for the academy to remain successful. It could end up being considered a threat to ZC

Cant really see politics interfering here, this is a private venture and more importantly is based in Bulawayo which as everyone knows is very removed from the governing capital Harare.

This is either good news or wayward because Zanu had a knack of getting involved as soon as private business got successful ... and most of those living in 'skyes' have a different opinion about how Harare gets involved.

It's like the Spanish setting up the Marine headquarters in Madrid as Barcelona is a bit too Catalan ... certainly the Catalans thought there was something going on :?
