Great effort by the batsmen. Credit to Sibanda for showing a lot of grit given his recent form. Should hopefully have the deficit wiped out by tea

What a great effort so far from Sibanda, Tiripano and now Verm. Hope we bat out the day and the first session tomorrow

It's a shame that MV won't play any Test Cricket for the foreseeable future after this game, provided he actually puts his hand up and makes a score.

Talk about a prediction!brmtaylor.com admin wrote:If Tiripano can hang around for as long as he did in the first innings and just provide support for Sibanda then he has done his job.
2/80 at lunch, with Vermeulen and Sibanda still batting and I'd be really pleased. That then sets a platform to hopefully bat for the rest of the day.
I'm pleased

It's a credit to those involved how well the players have stuck to their roles especially considering its a game of club cricketers and Brendan Taylor vs test stars. What is the crowd like?

Spot on. Zim really fighting it out here guess the cricket gods haven't totally forgotten us. Great effort indeed.
