This is so humiliating. UAE are a 160 side. Now they'll get 280+. How embarrassing.

Awful bowling.

Chasing 280+ isn't easy no matter who you are playing ......

I'm starting to get those same feelings I had when the Afgahnis dusted us at home ......

I am absolutely fuming. That was bloody terrible to watch. I didn't even watch the last over. That was not the same Zim side that came out against SA. There was no intensity or excitement. We took wickets and looked disappointed. We were absolutely quiet in the field. No chatter and no inclination towards wanting to do anything.

We gave away cheap runs, particularly in the powerplay. And the field placings were terrible. We could see they were going to go over the top on the off side, but rather that put a fielder there or change our line, we kept doing stupid things. We spoke so much about closing off and learning from the SA game but we didn't show any of that today.

Dont even get me started on extras. That was atrocious. So many wides and terrible bowling. We didn't even attempt to bowl in the blockhole or look to limit runs. Its almost as if we turned up expecting the UAE to just crumble.

Conceding that total against an associate is completely unacceptable. Absolutely terrible. /rant

285 against UAE is a joke and these guys will be pumped in the field, we need a strong start to take back the accendency ......

Chigs never goes for the kill, when Chatara took his second he should have left him on and tried to take another, I guess it's hard to attack with only 2 strike bowlers but I would have rather seen Chatara bowl out before the 40th over than him go for 10 an over at the end .......

Chigs has to pull his finger out he can't bat 7 and not bowl it just kills the balance of the team, get in the nets son and start bowling !!!!!!

Chigs isn't a captain. Unfortunately though he is probably the only option apart from Taylor. I think the coach and the leadership group need to take some of the stick here too. They need to be having these discussions and relaying messages here.

At times the commentators were speaking about they noticed that no one was speaking to the bowlers telling them to change things up or maybe alter the field or to do something. Instead the bowlers kept doing the same and kept getting punished, and everyone on the field remained quiet and watched on.

I'm fuming too zimbos_05. UAE are rubbish and they just posted a score that could see them win.

DAMN IT. This was supposed to be a NRR booster... if we win we'll probably find a way to take it to the 49th over

Guaranteed Ireland will push aside UAE with ease, they must be laughing their heads off.

What an utterly disgraceful performance. Appalling.

I'm glad someone has more confidence than me. I certainly am not happy with that performance and based on the body language of the lads, I can actually see us throwing this away. I certainly hope that i am wrong.
