plus who ?
Cremer ?

Aha, fancy a Rhino forgetting about Waller
Any updates on Chatara at all ?, if anyone is desperately needed it must be him

Wow only Mutombodzi pays the price for the Afghan debacle, although he had chances to put in a score and never did .....
Chari also dropped without a match probably better for him to get the A Matches then sitting on the bench .....
Waller and Regis back i honestly think they're both better suited to longer form cricket but we will wait and see .....
Still no young quicks in the A teams what is going on ???

Maybe Musoko and Mumba are suffering from vitiligo and have been mistaken for being the wrong race for a "representative" Zimbabwe side no matter how good they are.jaybro wrote:

So, Hamilton has been completely shut out of limited overs cricket. Not even part of Zim A OD squad. The brains (
) at ZC working overtime.

Re: [Series Thread] Zimbabwe A v Bangladesh A in Zimbabwe
I think the Zimbabwe hierarchy have completely jettisoned heath streaks pace search in favour of containing bowlers ( that don't contain) Shame.........Musoko and mumba would have been an ideal opportunity in the a side,
Re: [Series Thread] Zimbabwe A v Bangladesh A in Zimbabwe
It has to be a conspiracy involving Makoni and Bvute. Coaches and selectors have come and gone with Masakadza being treated the same way. Must be ZC admin behind it surely.CrimsonAvenger wrote:So, Hamilton has been completely shut out of limited overs cricket. Not even part of Zim A OD squad. The brains () at ZC working overtime.

Re: [Series Thread] Zimbabwe A v Bangladesh A in Zimbabwe
The Zimbabwe squad to Bangladesh is a weird one. 8 bowlers and 8 batsmen, except of the 8 batsmen - Williams, Raza & Chamu do a lot of bowling. Plus in those conditions Chigumbura will definitely bowl. Malcolm's inclusion means he will be expected to contribute a lot with the ball there. So why not drop bowlers and pick batsmen?
Clearly everything has been done to include Cremer, which made it difficult to drop two of Madziva, Nyumbu&Muzarabani, especially when Malcolm never did anything to be there in the first place. Once again trade-offs rearing their ugly head.
But Cremer will be up against it. The tour is structured in such a way that ODIs come before the T20s(his better format). Inevitably he'll be up against Wellington, Chisoro plus batsmen Williams, Raza & Malcolm(I expect Nyumbu won't be named in the XI). He has been passed fit to travel so there will be no excuses.
This makes this tour make-or-break for Cremer's career. Conditions favour spin so every spinner will be on equal footing, except Chisoro who has no experience in these conditions, while Cremer has the most experience there. Should he be outbowled, that would mean he cannot make the Test squad. At Rhinos he will have Chisoro&Willaims, but he'll also have Bhasikoro&Munyende to contend with, plus of course Malcolm. Chances of him outbowling his team-mates, and also spinners in other franchises are very very slim. Getting reselected via domestic performances already looks bleak.
Chamu, Raza, Craig, Williams, Chakabva/Malcolm, Chigumbura, Mutumbami(wk), Jongwe/Panyangara, Chisoro, Cremer, Wellington
