That'll be me Sloandog. I'm an import from Rugby to open the bowling and batting

It was a pleasure to meet you Dr Singh. I guess today we'll find out if the track is flat for both teams ......
Will see you in the one dayers.
 A pleasure

I fine century by Brian Chari showing his weight in gold... And at a strike rate of 80 too!! :o

Definitely a flat pitch, that. :)

Chari is a player of the future but he just needs time to own his game ......

Hey mate do you have updates on how Tendai's recovery is coming along? I know you said you weren't involved but you're probably closer to the team than anyone here
I believe updates on injuries either come directly from the players or via the media relations.

Chari ends up with an unbeaten 149....not many of our batsmen have carried their bat in an international match...do any others come to mind, apart from Grant Flower in that ODI against England and Mawoyo in that memorable innings against Pakistan?

Useful rearguard action from Nyauchi, with a 23 whilst batting at 11. Batsmen 7 to 10 (Mamhiyo, Tiripano, M'shangwe and Nyumbu) only managed to cobble 15 runs between the four of them. So, we finish our 1st inning on 387...97 runs behind.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Chari did retire his Innings at one point. Still a good bating performance though. :)

Taylor's 145* vs South Africa in 2010: http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/c ... 63143.html

I was so excited watching that game. Grant Flower was my favourite player before BT, so it was quite special seeing them bat together.
