Why is the boundary on the eastern side so far in? It's like 20m from the fence. Crazy

I'm still not convinced by having Chari in the squad as a pure batsman when he could be replaced by Raza or Chamu who can also do a good job with the ball, or Regis who can keep. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong with a big score.

I tend to agree. But by giving him this Test he can't say he hasn't been given a decent run at it. If he has another failure in this Test he'll probably be dropped for an extended while.

Need another wicket. If we can break this pair, then we're one away from the tail.
It'd be disappointing if we conceded more than 350 from this position.

Problem with Chari will come if he makes 11 & 27 or so. If he makes a 50 fine, if he fails twice, clear, but if he gets a start and double figures they may keep him for a couple more failures
