Crazy move to push Moor up in overcast conditions. Musakanda sets up a bit like Matsikenyeri with a low back-lift.

I mentioned it the day before yesterday!! Opening with Moor is about the most stupid decision.. Vitori hasn't played any Limited overs cricket but is playing.. Maybe Streak is throwing something new at SL since they've got so used to our seamers..

Hami gone! mxm!!

It didn't work but I still think it was worth the risk.
Chari was never going to take the game away from SL early on, but Moor could have. Not to be today I guess.

Moor cant play the swinging ball.. It's well known!! He's known as a guy who dominates spin.. Even BT and Symcox were against this move.. Why change something that's working??? That's how you destroy careers.. A guy averages 6 as an opener and 36 as a number 5/6 Batsman then you make him open??!!! Charlie Kunje should have been given a run in this series.. Hami is done.. Good riddance! Stick with Chari.. If Hami and co can get 150+ games then Chari deserves 30 at least..

Beg to differ on that, having watched him enough opening the innings,i can clearly gauge that he has a slightly flawed technique that wouldnt make him prosper in that role. But at the same time though,7 is too late a position to come in too,5 or 6 should be ideal

You make it sound like Moor is a walking wicket when it comes to swing bowling. If he hopes to make it as a batsman at international level then that's not good enough.

For a team that's opened with guys like Maruma and Utseya before, using Moor to try and get off to a quick start doesn't seem like much of a head scratcher to me. Admittedly the experiment failed, but I think it was a reasonable risk to take.

Musakanda looks the goods, so far, I think.

Very impressive so far from musikanda. Looks very assured. Streak and taibu sending a clear message to the seniors that they will give everyone a fair go but failure will not be tolerated indefinitely
