With Tibba away I would agree with putting Ervine at 3, as debutant he looked so much at ease, composed and confident as opposed to my post elsewhere about putting Timcyn at 3 against the WI who looked way out of depth. Lets hope we have a game today!

Some more updates that came a short while back. Umpire Russel Tiffin: "We plan to inspect at 12.30 (local time) and if we cannot start then we will have to abandon the game." Groundsman Douglas Higgins said the outfield is holding up and would be playable if the rain did not continue for long. So, just over a couple of hours of time, there is still hope for this game.
