With Tibba away I would agree with putting Ervine at 3, as debutant he looked so much at ease, composed and confident as opposed to my post elsewhere about putting Timcyn at 3 against the WI who looked way out of depth. Lets hope we have a game today!

From only 21 matches and 37 innings, Zimdoggy. How about his List A average? Sixty-oneZIMDOGGY wrote:I swear you'd think that Craig Ervine was Jesus Christ himself if you read these forums without knowing any better.
his first class average is 35.

Hi All,
Hopefully the rain will stop and we'll get some play in today. If it does, you can watch it live on-line.
I have posted a blog post on my site on how here: http://www.chirundu.com/cricket-watch-z ... g-2010-06/
I found it during the Zim vs India game - works well and is totally Free!

Hi guys, I'm not at the game today, I'm slightly under the weather. My dad and brother have gone to watch the match but they've said that it was raining about 1 hour ago. Can anybody tell me if its still raining. From where i am its lovely and sunny

Some good news, the rain seems to have stopped and play is due to start 1pm local - I think reduced to 27 overs each

Some more updates that came a short while back. Umpire Russel Tiffin: "We plan to inspect at 12.30 (local time) and if we cannot start then we will have to abandon the game." Groundsman Douglas Higgins said the outfield is holding up and would be playable if the rain did not continue for long. So, just over a couple of hours of time, there is still hope for this game. Fingers crossed.[cricinfo]
