Philander is bowling 125, KJ bowls rockets in comparison.

I’m sure you can find someone better than Markram, he can’t buy a run, hopefully you can get rid of Faf soon as you said, and TDB shouldn’t be there, you’ll be left with Elgar, but you need a token murungu, so keep him for a bit.
Your plan is coming together.

The Proteas downfall might be worse than ours because we actually never reached the top

Once you lose that fear factor you never get it back. They have lost it

No I don’t think so. They have so much more infrastructure and people than us that they will always compete. I’m going to be very interested to see how it unfolds without their franchises. They have a system with 6 franchises that constitutes their FC, now it’s going to be 12 or 13 provinces that presumably will get FC status.
Despite Encore’s protestations their franchise is significantly weaker than it used to be with diminishing crowds and sponsorship. That surely has to be exacerbated when you dilute that to 12 provinces.
It’s fascinating to watch what looks to be the deliberate destruction of something that can’t be repaired. That’s the key here, we know from our experience that the lost ground cannot be recovered.

Interesting watching Kagiso having a full go at Quinny just now, not much love there.

QDK dropped a difficult chance and KR threw the ball at him a few balls later, a lob, that he wasn’t watching as he was talking in the slips and it went over his head. Some balls later Faf had to stop KR marching up to QDK, a very heated exchange.
