Maybe..
The world cup is a tempting factor. Craig Ervine reckons he'll play, my facebook 'friend' has been speaking to him.

I thought the Taylor-Masakadza partnership was a good thing: talented, stable, experienced and almost unbreakable because we've nothing to replace it with. How wrong was I! We've taken a step backwards I think. Taylor's temperament suited Hamilton's, they had started to build an understanding that was a key foundation in our batting performance in SA. Hamilton's contribution to Taylor's good performances has to be recognised, so now what are they saying, is his career over? :(

What has Hamilton done to be dropped? He's our best opener by far imo.

Yup...agree

Having duffin and vusi ahead of him in the 20 doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me

Does that mean chamu opens with taylor?

would have to be mate , i would ruch rather hammy and the top especially seeing as he is our vice captain and one of our most experienced players.i would rather mawayo at the top he looks the goods and has been very consistent at domestic level and even against new zealand A .just proves no one is really safe , also looks like the selectors arent a big fan of him. thank god dabengwa isnt there anymore and thats the end of his international career. i have to admit he has been faithful to zim cricket and showed heart but clearly hes not good enough

Very strange decision to be honest. There is no way that Hamilton is not one of the best 5 players in the country. Just look at the way he has absolutely dominated in domestic cricket in all forms of the game. Also, he made 70 against SA in a T20 just a couple of months ago...

As is the IPL - high quality international performances will see him get a good chance of selection for the IPL. The combined financial and playing rewards of IPL/Zim International would far outweigh what he can earn and enjoy on treadmill of county cricket with Hampshire.

Now for Gary Ballance.........

What on earth does Forster have to do to get a run in the side ?
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.
