First hour and half is going to be crucial. If we get through it unscathed the inexperienced Pak bowlers will lose patience and will start serving some bad balls. Just hope no wickets fall early on.

7 overs gone and been a good start after being put in, Taylor admited he would of batted first if he had won the toss. The ball hasant done much so far but they are making the batsman play a lot more than the Bangladesh bowlers did.

Need to get through to drinks wicket a wicket going down. Will be intersting to see how we play ajmal as Zimbabwe have historicaly struggled again so called "mystrey spinners" such as Medis and Murrili.

Need to cash in up front will our long tail but are doing ok so far.

I'm liking this opening pair. They know how to set the Test tempo and have Rameez drooling. :D

Bit worried about Vusi on the pull shot as he is a compuulsive puller and if the ball is short he will go after it and as we saw in the Bangladesh series this could be his downfull. Tino's role looks to be very much the stayer and bat for as long as possible (yes i know it sound obvious) in order to frustrate the opposition.

Just need to make sure that we dont through away our wickets which nearly all the top order did against Bangladesh after a good start.
