Re: My test line up
I agree with you on the bowling lineup; it's too green for my liking. My thoughts on S Masakadza are well documented and not only would Meth be debuting as well but he would be coming in on the back of 0/85 at the same venue. Replace Masakadza with Mpofu and it might be reasonable, though I'm not convinced about Meth in the Test team yet. If he makes it hopefully he can bowl more like he did in the 2nd ODI (deception with swing).hhm wrote:Some horribly inexperienced bowlers, fragile Vusi-Mawoyo opening pair, a Hami off form, Waller-new, then 5 BOWLERS (never mind the innocuous pair who give the false impression that we have a short tail)!!! In those positions, of the batsman, only Taylor and Taibu standout out as likely performers. I'll hand one thing to you, some of you guys are very generous, or should I say friendly when it comes to a view of TEST CRICKET in the light of Zim cricket! (150all out in the second day, chasing 700/1dec, thanks to Price, with a 50 for Taylor&Taibu). Good luck!jimbo wrote:1. Sibanda, 2 mawoyo, 3. masakadza, 4. taylor, 5. Taibu, 6. waller, 7. Lamb, Price, Vitori, Jarvis, Mpofu is my preferred attack - although I know this won't happen due to injuries. Lamb, Price and Mpofu have a vast amount of experience at First Class level, especially Price and Lamb. While Vitori and Jarvis provide much needed variety and potency to the attack.
Re: My test line up
Price, Jarvis and Chigs are likely in. Mpofu probable. Vitori's place is up for grabs tonight.

not like its "see ball....talk to ball"
otherwise test cricket will be like:
"oh hey there ball...how you doing? hows stump? haha yeah i know what you mean...yep the familys been going pretty well, little johnny just started kindergarten last week. It was a big step for him and he cried a few times but hes starting to get the hang of it now, his teachers not a bad sort if you know what i mean (wink at ball) so anyway have you heard the goss about butterworth yet? whens he coming back? a few boys at the ZCF have been wondering and he had a good domestic season last year, i really think he was starting to hit his straps..rumours are floating that pays an issue. its a shame because i REALLY feel hes about to hit his peak you know? could have been the next gus mackay if he kept the momentum up over the next few years. OHHHH guess what? i ran into guy whittal down at Kwekwe the other day...hes looking good. what he would be about 40 now? yeah he wasnt that bad a player, had a few good innings but he was kind of inconsistent i agree with you there ball. Averaged 22 or some shit.
So anyway me and a few of the work crew were thinking of going for a few bevvys after the game down at the old maiden. If your free later on, your MORE than welcome to come and you can bring stump if you like. Ill warn you though, Taylor and cremer will bet here on the piss and they are quite a handful on the drink! lol let me tell you!! hahaha. last time i was there you should have seen what happened with the waittress it was friggin hilarious! Anyway ball....butchers giving me a few bad looks up at the dressing room and it looks like your nearly at the keepers glove so ill let you go. BTW i havent forgotten that 5 bucks you know me. Ok player keep it real.. xoxo"
That just wouldnt be cricket...

However I do find it very concerning someone like you, with your position, should be making blatantly bigotted homophobic comments. I wonder what your employers would think, and for that matter local schools and other organisations that work with the club. What would they think of such childish bigotry. Shall we find out

Shouldn't you be watching the dreary four nations championshit going on at the moment. Bringing Rugby League to the uninterested masses.

Zimfanatic, I should have guessed the entertainment and quality of rugby league would be lost on you.
