I think I'd like to see an ODI team with all of Mutizwa, Ervine and Waller, I think the strike rate and run rate will be better but how do we balance the rest of the team? Perhaps by consigning Hami to test matches forgoing the love for Chakabva and Chibhabha.

flowerpower i was waiting for this , its not because they are my favourites its because i want whats best for the team ! utseya is defensive bowler like price and i feel cremer would do a better job and has more variety plus strengthens the batting.meth ahead of ncube because he swings the new ball and balls consistent while at the other end a mpofu/jarvis or vitori can attack. we have no genuine swing bowlers in the lineup plus his batting could be handy in the powerplay overs because the lad can bat.also calling that ervine is averaging 13 in his last few odis its only because he got 2 cracks at it , he is a genuine middle order bat and provides the left hander we need. we all know how he can bat he just needs the confidence which time and faith will allow. how many games do we want maakadza coming out and being 5 off 21 balls ect putting the pressure on taylor , sibanda , waller who ever it is at the other end to try and lift the tempo? i know hammy is experienced and is a wonderful batsman but on current form he does not deserve his spot in the odis , one more crack in the test team yes but odis no. i would love to see a middle order of taylor , taibu , ervine , waller , ect . it just looks the goods and am very confident will perform. i get your point mate but i feel this is the way to go ... remember it is a forum and everyons entitled to there on opinion.

Ncube got a lucky break and took it you cant slate him for that. Creamer if fit is my first pick for the slow bowler we are together but he isnt fit what I objected to was that Pro is struggling...contrary he took 8 wickets in the 3 series placing him 2nd highest tied with Price and Price is safe.

Hami ave 31 and you want to replace him witg Ervine (who I admit is showing a bit of form) who averaged 13.

..and Meth is a good shout but for whom Vitori got 12, surely that cant make him a candidate, Jarvis is almost utouchable Mpofu is the wise head thats before we talk about Ncube who as I explained hasnt done much wrong and will still make way for Vitori so where does Meth slot in?

Look I get why you may want to see some change and you are definitely entitled to your opinion and you have my support as always in having your say but it must be changes for the right reasons and Im not convinced.

Ewing: Has to get a call up for the NZ tour, surely.
Ervine: Should make a return to the Test team. Not convinced about his ability as a one day player.
Matsi: Has been impressive so far in the List A matches he's played. His international career isn't over as some of us thought.
I have to be honest, Rainsford hasn't done that much in domestic cricket, but his presence in the national team won't have me complaining.

Jarvis and vetori both have the ability to take wickets internationally, something that meth hasn't yet proved.... So as much as I rate keegan, why should he lead the attack ? Mpofu is like our work horse, and his experience had been vital of late. Querl, hmm I'm not sure. I'd like to see how he does in his next few games, see if he continues to take wickets. If he does I think he'll be very hard to ignore

Did you watch the T20's or Odi's against New Zealand? Meth was the only one who troubled the batsmen.
He was unlucky and should be given more chances. He had lbw's turned down and catches dropped.
Type "Keegan Meth" into google news and sort by date , you will see batsmen and trouble together and that is all you will see.

I watched all games and I can tell you how desperate the bowling looked before Meth came into the picture.
I have defended the 0/85 several times before and I am not going to do it again now.
