Absolutely!

Vusi, Tino...?
...nope. Vusi FC ave over 30 over 20 fifties and 13 tons....Mawoyo FC ave over 40...3 100s and 21 fifties...

I thought you admited that Diffin wasnt as good as Mawoyo...what happened since?

Uummm, Mawoyo has a FC ave of 29.32 FP. Not anywhere close to 'over 40'

Tuskers 159/7, and Mountaineers clearly on top, wickets equally shared around. The guys are bowling so well atm as a unit, there's no respite for the opposition whatsoever. Just as well for the Tuskers that yesterday Duffin and Horton decided to bat for the draw right from the go. ;)

To errer is human, to fail to acknowledge it is criminal, thanks for the correction Jemisi indeed Mawoyo does average 29.32 its his SR which is over 40 (my bad) ...but the 3 hundreds and 21 fifties do belong to him ;) !

Mountaineers bowling well. Why didn't anybody get Sean Ervine for a duck?
Hope Hami and Kasuza smash out of Zim when he comes on to bowl in the Mts' Innings!!

I must say the Mountaneers have surprised me this year, I thought the Rhinos would be the Tuskers main rivals but that Shingi, Tiripano, Chatara bowling unit is proving to be handful to many. But the Tuskers can hold their own: Staddon doesn't seem to play Logan and Mpofu is injured and yet they still field Meth, Querl, Ncube which has proved itself. Still finely balanced, who is going to end on top?

You're a Tusker fan, right?

Of course it'll be us! Far superior batting order and bowling unit! This Ned guy has 'pathetic' written all over him, while Maruma. like Dabengwa, can't be allowed to look like a better batsman than he is. He's close to the top of the charts, so another big score, then a fiver in one innings we may find him in one of our squads within the next two series. These are the kind of eventualities I dislike about form and stats - they are grossly misleading at times (think of all the Indian batsmen in FC cricket>+50avg, plus plenty of English County seamers>-30evg)! I don't need stats to convince of Rainsford and Nicholson's abilities, but there is a danger which the likes of Maruma, Dabengwa & Kasteni have cashed in on!

The Rhinos, will concede a huge deficit to us in the end, but they are second best!

The Eagles are our main rivals! I 'hate' them, so should you!

Of course I hate the Eagles  but if we lose this one we will have 3 teams level on points, give or take 1 innings point.
Purely from a competition perspective, the Rhinos are strong rivals but they are losing ground slightly. The Mountaneers and the Eagles are in the hunt, they aren't push overs and the Rhinos aren't out of it yet. It's a long season.

Both bowling attacks look solid. Manicas have three good seamers and two solid slow bowlers. Tuskers have a form opening pair and good support.
