The Dutch have announced their squad and all of their county players are in
The squad consists of: Scott Edwards (captain and wicketkeeper), Colin Ackermann, Musa Nadeem Ahmad, Shariz Ahmad, Wesley Barresi, Tom Cooper, Aryan Dutt, Brandon Glover, Vivian Kingma, Fred Klaassen, Ryan Klein, Bas de Leede, Roelof van der Merwe, Paul van Meekeren, Teja Nidamanuru, Max O'Dowd and Vikram Singh.

Of the above players, Bas de Leede, Brandon Glover and Colin Ackermann will not be available for the matches in South Africa; Wesley Barresi and Aryan Dutt will not be playing in Zimbabwe.
Those are 3 key players missing the tour, sure SA is a stronger side but their players will miss out on acclimatizing for the qualifiers.
Biggest loss to them is Tim Pringle. Who is really a superb upcoming bowler. Will definitely play for NZ in near future.

Van Beek missing as well? I think he was in the most recent NZ A side so maybe they’ve lost him too

Doesn't he have a county contract aswell? With Derbyshire.

This should still be a very strong Dutch side to face even without those guys, I'm expecting a 2-1 result, which could go in favour of either side.

M. O'Dowd
V. Singh
C. Ackerman
B. De Leede
T. Cooper
S. Edwards c & w/k
T. Nidamanuru
R. van der Merwe
B. Glover
P. van Meekeren
F. Klaasen

Pretty clear to see that the Dutch's strength will be their bowling, Klaasen is a really good new-ball bowler and Glover is also really good as well. They might be a little short in the spin bowling department, but RvdM is a really good spinner coming off a great SAT20 tournament.

Their batting, much like Zimbabwe's is dangerous on their day, but also susceptible to collapses as well. O'Dowd up top is a very dangerous opener who likes to go after the bowling and gave Zim headaches in the only two previous ODIs between the two nations back in 2019. Singh looks a real talent, but thus far hasn't made a real big score, chances are he does this tour.

Ackerman, Cooper, de Leede & Edwards make up a pretty solid middle order, so it will be interesting to see how this series pans out. I'm really looking forward to seeing how de Leede plays, I think he's probably the best player across both teams.

Gutted that the ICC have screwed the Dutch over though and aren't continuing with the super league. One of my favourite cricketing countries, would love to see them get sustained opportunities and become really competitive.

Potential banana skin for us this one - it's their last super league series so they'll be determined to leave a mark. They've also got most of their county players available, which they haven't for the majority of their super league fixtures.

Will be a close series, the Dutch have got a serious pace attack, Van Meekeren, Klaasen, Glover can all bowl at serious pace. I'll fancy Zimbabwe to win 2-1 due to the home conditions advantage which should bring Zimbabwe's spinners into play.

Sikki has looked in ominous form in the PSL, he can make a huge difference, if he plays. He won't have any franchise games in that week.

Yeah should be a very close series just like the Ireland one. I think ZIM will take it 2-1 though unless the Netherlands side is significantly stronger than what they've put out for most of the Super League.
