Can still not see any signs of the two 'rumoured players' in Coventry or Williams ... but for those of you not yet up to speed:

Kalabagan CA:
-Hammi,
-Raza
-Vusi

SK Jamal DC:
-Elton

Prime Bank CC:
-Taylor

...on a personal note it's nice to see Rajin Saleh still playing cricket - was always my fav BD player and seemed to me a good servant to the BD cause, even if the BD selectors never saw it that way

Obviously the Bangladeshi's don't think much of our bowlers with none being selected .....

In fairness, even in the ipl you really have to be a truly standout bowler to be picked with a T20 preference for players who can offer a bit more (~Vusi and Raza are the lucky ones here as they offer batting only) - Hami (and i'm sure they hoped Elton) will bowl a few, while Taylor will keep. Williams could've offered some bowling. Pro is clearly not rated much either in BD as he would've offered something with the bat and I guess they just don't know enough about Shingi [though he held his bat pretty well against them in the last series]

I think Cremer is good enough to be picked .....

I reckon Pro might be a chance in the BPL ....

I am truly happy to see someone follows BD cricket so closely. You guys are awesome. Rajin, Syed Russel, Taposh all were the part of BD team around the same time frame. They are still playing.

I am glad to see a lot of Zimbabwean in the current edition of DPL. Hopefully they will enjoy their stay and perform well. Taylor already made his mark with a fine innings. Waiting to see Chigs and Hami in the coming matches.

To be honest, it is exactly my thinking. The area where BD truly lost the competition to ZIM is the fast bowling. Unfortunately, fast bowling is not the area where the management of any level either it is club level or national level puts an emphasis on. The sooner they realize the importance of fast bowling the better. In my opinion, the DPL clubs needs fast bowlers from abroad than anything else.

Not a great day for Zimbos.

Vusi - a duck
Elton - 5 not out as his team imploded
Hamilton - 7 with the bat, but 2 wickets with the ball
Raza, the best of the day - 27 with the bat, 2 wickets with the ball!
