India seem to be in a strong position at the 30 over mark need some quick wickets ....

3 for Geyle well done, Lake seems to be rotating the bowlers alot ....

Guess it's all on Burl, Lake Jongwe and Geyle for the run chase unless there is some other top batter in the team Im not aware of ....

3/32 for Geyle..
Can anyone tell me how fast is he? Has he been performing well in domestic cricket?

Interested to see who opens the batting. Luke Masasire and Bentley did it in the world cup. Geyle might be pushed up, just so he can have a slog. Might be one of the keepers Handirisi or Gumbie. Don't remember Burl ever opening.

Wouldn't be as fast as Musoko or Jongwe. Did pretty well in the world cup, plus he can bat, so he's a handy player. :)

what then hell is it with these Zim all-rounders in the Hami/Mark Ealam mould (Jongwe, Geyle) ? decent enough bats with good military medium lines.

sloandog - looking at Lake's figures we may just have found the new KJ :D

btw, totoro; is Jongwe actually fast. I thought he was primarily a batsman. Anyway, 291 is a BIG chase

He's defiantly a bowler, Isn't great at batting, just handy like a Shingi or Chatara of late. :D

Haven't seen him bowl, but from what I've heard from on this site, he can bowl up to 140. I could be wrong just been going off what those in the know on the forum have said. :)

Finally an update. 2/43 off 15 overs. No where near fast enough; just need the batsmen to get some time in the middle though I guess.

even at u19 level !!??... I'm beginning to wonder if they're taught to 'go-slow' somewhere in their nurturing

Geyle is actually a left arm spinner, haha. Cricinfo have just got it wrong. He seems like he has very good control though judging by his past figures aswell
