Interesting to see the name of Doug Hondo in the Takashinga squad.

Have not heard anything of him over here since the 'dreadlock' affair. Is he now back playing and is there any possibility of him getting back into the reckoning for the senior squads ?

Doug has had some injury problems and yea he has been off the scene for a long time now. I haven't seen him play any first class matches with the A or Select Sides, hence chances of making it into the senior squad are uncertain, but in his days he was quite handy. His brother Daniel is in the Zimbabwe Rugby 7s squad.

I believe he's had problems with a stress fracture in his back. He was doing some coaching work for a while, but an international return is probably unlikely...

For the second year running, Takashinga Cricket Club has won the National League final. The boys from the Highfield were not at full strength, with many of their squad in Pakistan with the Zimbabwean national team, such as Prosper Utseya, Timycen Maruma and Elton Chigumbura. Their opponents, Bulawayo Athletic Club, were without the services of medium pace bowler Tawanda Mupariwa.
